I never had a career in mind, I had no idea what I wanted to do. I knew I wanted to do something creative and challenging. I started by selling my art prints on Etsy while developing my skills as a photographer.

I love photographing the changes that seasons bring - the shapes, shadows, colours & light. There is so much beauty in ordinary, everyday things.

We love trying new things and seeing new places. Belfast, Northern Ireland is home but photography often takes us abroad. We've already shot in Italy, France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Greece, Sweden and Iceland. So, no matter where you're having your wedding, or how different it will be, please get in touch.

Photos are little reminders of happy days in our lives, important milestones, time spent with family and friends. I love that photography allows us to relive those memories and feelings of joy.

There’s always a moment during Photographing a wedding that reminds me why I'm doing this job.

When I'm not photographing weddings, I run Simple Tapestry Prints - our fine-art print shop.

I can still remember telling Brideen how much I hated wedding photography. I saw it as boring and formulaic - something that couples dread on their wedding day.

This was, of course, before she invited me to shoot a wedding with her...

I got hooked on the emotion - the drama, the chaos and the fun.

As a photographer it's a challenge and an adrenaline rush, as well as an opportunity to create something that’s really meaningful to someone.

When I don't have a camera in my hand, I'm a musician and DJ. When producing music, I can spend weeks and sometimes months trying to finish a simple 4-minute piece. Photography is really different.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT Photography IS THAT IT'S so immediate.

One single frame takes a hundredth of a second to capture yet can provoke endless thoughts and emotions... That's really cool.

I'm a music and film fanatic, and happy to chat endlessly about both. Like Brideen, I have a weird obsession with eighties power-ballads.

In photography I take inspiration from Robert Yeoman, Bradford Young and the amazing Roger Deakins.

This is WHAT we do 

Our photography style is always pretty relaxed. We like to capture things as they unfold; documenting if we can help it, without interfering too much.

We approach every wedding day with a fresh outlook, and try to get absorbed in the personality of your wedding.  

All we need from you to get great photos is some time and your trust. We give some gentle direction (and sometimes, alcohol), should you need it, but ultimately we like to keep things as natural as possible.

Professional Photo Magazine put us in their list of Top 50 Wedding Photographers 2020 among some other amazing photographers.

In 2018, we were nominated for Best Wedding Story in Europe at the Way Up North awards - we didn’t win but had an awesome time at the awards ceremony in Cannes!

As humbled as we are by professional recognition, the most important thing for us is the happiness of our couples.
