Limepark Wedding - Mary-Kate and Conor

The camera never lies. Isn’t that what they say? Well, when you’re an Irish wedding photographer and it’s lashing, your job is to do anything and everything to make it look otherwise.

It really helps when you have a couple like Mary-Kate and Conor, who will drop everything to grab a picture in between rain storms. And they didn’t complain once. Later, we may have taken advantage of Conor’s good nature and compliance to make him dance and do conga lines, but that’s a different story.

After their ceremony in Moneyglass, we made our way to Limepark for the reception. If you’re looking for a wedding venue in Northern Ireland that actually works in the rain, this is one. The place just has that cosy, warm feel - rustic stone buildings, roaring fires, and plenty of covered spots that make sure a bit of bad weather never ruins the vibe. Plus, when the rain does stop, you’ve got so many lovely little nooks to use for photographs.

Big shoutout to Closeknit Films, who worked alongside us all day. Always a bonus when the videographers are top craic from start to finish.
