We’ve photographed a lot of weddings at Bellinter House over the years, and somehow, they always attract the best people. Eliza and David were no exception. As well as being ridiculously gorgeous, they are the loveliest couple you could hope to meet.

After a summer that felt like it had more rain than actual sunshine, October just strolled in acting like July - warm, bright, and absolutely perfect for a wedding. If you didn’t know better, you’d think this was a peak summer wedding, not mid-autumn.

Instead of one long portrait session, Eliza and David split theirs into three shorter ones, which was a class idea. They started with a first look and a few photos after, then squeezed in another quick session post-ceremony. We even managed to squeeze in some all important shots with Charlie, their dog, who was on his best behaviour. Finally, as the sun went down, they took advantage of the mild October evening for some after-dark portraits. The result? A perfect mix of everything, without any stress.

A special mention has to go to Ruth and Peter, their chief bridesmaid and best man. There were only two of them, but they had more craic (and were more useful) than bridal parties five times the size. If you ever need references for future bridesmaiding or groomsmanning duties, we’re happy to provide them…
