Everyone has a city that they've not visited, but everyone they know assures them that they would love it.  Barcelona was that city for me. Brideen has visited a few times before and was astonished that I had never been, so when Primavera announced their AMAZING 2014 lineup, we booked straight away.

We're unashamedly massive fans of The National - following them for the past 10 years or so across all kinds of venues and cities.  In 2008 we were lucky enough to meet them when my band supported them - they later put Brideen and me on their guestlist for a show in Central Park, NYC. To get to see them at a festival in Barcelona was immense.

And yes, I loved Barcelona - the people and culture of the city are as good as you'll find anywhere in the world. And the weather... wow... -  of course, being a music festival, there was some rain, but it didn't stick around long enough to spoil the fun.  As the festival runs from late evening, we had an opportunity to take in some of the sights and daydream about moving there permanently - if you're booking a wedding there, we'll happily come along!!!

Often when we travel, the only cameras we take with us are our iphones - I cannot emphasise how good a camera it is. Here's a selection of our pics from Primavera 2014, all taken with our iPhone 5 cameras.
