There’s something really sweet about a couple sharing their wedding day with their kids. The sight of Sharon and Barry’s eldest boy, Oscar, walking his mum up the aisle kind of just hits you in the chest. And when Sharon gave her bridesmaids handwritten letters telling them how much they mean to her, we were in bits.

We loved hanging out with their little family during their wedding at Old Court Chapel. They’re one of those cool couples that just ooze style (just look at Sharon’s dress) while at the same time wear their emotions on their sleeve.

This was our first wedding at Old Court Chapel in Strangford and it’s become an instant favourite. If the quaint little church and gorgeous reception venue aren’t enough, it is set on the banks of Strangford Lough, overlooking Portaferry giving guests spectacular views as the sip on their prosecco and eat cake! We were completely won over though when the owner, Peter, sent us home with some veg he’d freshly dug from his garden.
