Since June, we have resumed outdoor engagement/couple shoots as well as small family shoots. We’ve really loved being out and shooting again.

There are a few caveats to this, of course: firstly, we’re keeping our shoots as close to Belfast as possible - this is to cut down on unnecessary travel and accommodation. Secondly, we can only agree to family shoots where everyone is from the same household or bubble - otherwise, we’ll need to introduce social distancing measures and that’ll just look weird!

Currently, in Northern Ireland, your wedding size is at the discretion of your wedding venue with many venues operating at a reduced capacity to ensure social distancing. This can mean that you have to cut your numbers down but it can still be really cool. Many of our favourite weddings have been the smallest ones - there’s something really intimate and magical about them.

You can have a legal religious, civil or humanist wedding outdoors or indoors in Northern Ireland. It’s a good idea to talk things over with your celebrant as soon as possible to come up with a plan and whatever contingencies you’ll need in place.

Chat to us if you want to bring along a photographer to your smaller wedding or elopement - the good news is that we have plenty of availability that we ordinarily wouldn’t have. We endeavour to take every precaution we can when shooting a wedding - we bring our own sanitiser and masks.

As ever, if you want to ask any questions just do so in the comments, or give us an email via the contact form xxx
