Stop what you’re doing, scroll down, and look at the AMAZING wedding cake. In the middle of preparing for her wedding, Shannon took the time out to create that masterpiece. But before any prospective brides start whipping out the eggs and flour, we should point out that Shannon is a professional – one of the creative bakers working for French Village.
Shannon and Aaron had a humanist wedding in the Titanic Hotel in Belfast, with the wonderful Laura Fitzsimons as their celebrant. I think it’s our favourite ceremony room in the whole of Northern Ireland – it’s flooded with gorgeous natural light that makes for beautiful photos. The perfect place to go for photos when the wind gets a bit too wild outside.
This was one of those weddings where there was a Tyrone contingent, so of course we spent most of the day talking to random guests about all our friends and relatives that they knew. Us Tyrone people are like that! By the end of the day we were becoming of the mindset that we were guests and Aaron and Shannon our lifelong friends… that’s the kind of people they are.
Did we mention the cake? Seriously, it was art.
