Little acts of kindness tell you a lot about people. When we arrived at Eimer and Jason’s houses the morning of their wedding, the first thing they did was hand us little goodie bags, packed with snacks, sweets and drinks so we wouldn’t get hungry on the day. This is the kind of people they are. You can see from the photos how beautiful they are on the outside, but no photo could quite convey just how lovely they are. Two absolute legends.
Their wedding in Killeavy Castle in Newry was the perfect reflection of them - just chock-full of fun, laughter and love. We genuinely enjoyed hanging out with them and their awesome families and bridal party. It was also great to catch up with Jason’s amazing cousin Aimee and her husband Stephen, whose wedding we photographed back in 2021.
There was a point when Eimear turned to us and said “I’m just having the absolute best day.” And you could tell - she didn’t stop smiling and giggling the whole day. Her mood was totally infectious. On each of their tables, some of Eimer’s primary school kids had shared their thoughts on what love is. One of them said ‘Love is when you smile.’ We couldn’t agree more.
