Does anyone else feel like 2022 hasn’t even fully started? We had so many gorgeous weddings and met so many amazing people, but it all went by in a heartbeat and here we are, at the end of another year. Time is funny like that.
Over the past year, we have had the pleasure of working with some truly incredible couples, photographing everywhere from living rooms to old castles. We are constantly humbled by the kindness, trust, and confidence that people place in us.
Also, a big shout out to all of the suppliers, venues, and other wedding professionals who we’ve worked with this past year. I like how we all strive to throw our best ingredients into the big old metaphorical wedding cake – and how we have the best craic while doing it.
We also launched a new Simple Tapestry Prints website in 2022 for our non-wedding work, and took great delight sending off prints to new homes across Ireland, the UK and beyond. The support and encouragement we got from our customers was so unexpected and we are incredibly grateful for it.
Below is a selection of some of our favourite photos and moments from this year’s weddings. We picked them on instinct. Some are emotional, many are silly; some were meticulously planned, others just happened in a fleeting moment. Hopefully, they give you a good sense of not only the class couples and weddings we photographed, but us as well.
