It’s hard to talk about 2021 without mentioning the big virus-riddled elephant in the room. But, we’re optimistic people, so we couldn’t help but notice the positives as the country slowly steered its way back to normality.

We all learned to appreciate our family and friends that little bit more. Some of our couples had chosen to start families in the meantime, giving their weddings a whole different meaning to what they had originally imagined. We even got to shoot our first wedding-christening hybrid ceremony!
And when the restrictions eased, it was like someone released the top off a fizzy drink that had been shaken for 12 months. It was the crazy, beautiful tonic that we all needed.
A massive thanks to all of the couples who entrusted us to photograph their weddings in 2021. Without you, we would’ve been sat at home in our PJs watching Netflix, and this post would’ve been significantly shorter.
