We absolutely love the French Riviera... but saying that is a bit of a given, isn't it? You'd have to be absolutely crazy not to love a part of Europe with perfect weather, gorgeous scenery, buildings and beaches, and a rich tradition of art, culture and great food.
We never tire of jumping on the SNCF train and exploring the little towns and villages dotted around Nice, like Eze, Villefranche, Cagnes Sur Mer, Antibes... We adore that perfect light that has drawn so many great artists and photographers to this region over the last 100 years - Cézanne, Matisse, Monet, Munch, Picasso and Renoir all loved this part of France.
I imagine that we'll continue to holiday here as long as we're able to - Brideen daydreams of living here permanently (when we win the Euromillions, of course). If you're having a wedding here and want two photographers who know the lay of the land, please get in touch - we're always happy to jump on a plane to France!
Here's a selection of photos from our trip, some shot on film, some on our trusty old Nikon D700 before we retired it, and some squares from instagram.
