Matt and Nicola’s wedding was everything we expected - a huge celebration fuelled by craft beer and great music. And lets talk for a minute about that craft beer… it was home-brewed by Matt and his fellow beer enthusiasts (Matt even made the beer fridge). Obviously, in the interests of fully immersing ourselves in the day, we had to have a few…. being a wedding photographer can be tough.

Without wanting to out them both as two wee nerds, Deci and Matt first met at QUB when they were part of Queen’s radio - the student radio station. Every week, along with best man Si, they’d inflict their music tastes on audiences that occasionally reached double figures… they’d all probably agree it was hands down the best thing about Uni.

Their ceremony music was class. Provided by Rachel McCarthy from The Darkling Air (you honestly need to check out their music - we’re big fans). The theme of great music continued throughout, with Mark from Bespoke Music solutions on the decks in the evening - he doesn’t know the meaning of cheesy wedding disco, he just plays great tunes.

Sun + rain + beer + music + alpacas x craic = a class wedding.
