We could go on about how unreal everyone looked and how much craic we had, but that’s not the first thing that comes to mind. What we’ll never forget is Aimee’s son, Danny, pulling off absolute madness with his acrobatics during the reception. We’re talking full-on flips, spins, and moves that made us feel ancient just watching. Honestly, I’m tired just even thinking about it.

But yeah, this was one of those weddings where we instantly felt like part of the furniture. From the start, everyone was up for a good time, and the energy never dipped. Even during the meal, things kicked off when Paul Skelton played out some old rave tunes on the piano. Before we knew what was happening, there was a full-on dance floor going, with people throwing shapes before dessert had even hit the table. We assumed everyone would be knackered by the time the Nooks came on but we couldn’t have been more wrong…

Special mention to the bridesmaids, who we’re now fully convinced are our new best mates. Their speech was genuinely one of the best we’ve ever heard - heartfelt, hilarious and with a bit of karaoke thrown in.

Ballymagarvey Village was the perfect place for it all. If you want a wedding where you don’t have to faff about getting from A to B, this is the one. The whole day, from prep to party, happens in one spot, which makes everything feel so relaxed. And yeah, it helps that it looks class too.

Just one of those weddings where the vibe was spot on from start to finish.
