Finally, in September, the sun decided to emerge from wherever it had been hiding for the previous couple of months. And during that brief fleeting moment of sunshine and heat, we were delighted to get to hang out with Natalie and Chris for their very Belfast wedding.
The brief for this wedding was simple and couldn’t have suited us more - grab some of the colour and personality of Belfast. After their Humanist ceremony in the Ulster Museum, we took some photos around Belfast’s Botanic Gardens, before jumping in a black cab and heading into the city. After a quick pint in the Duke of York, we took a few stops at the most cool and colourful street art and landmarks we could find.
Then, onto Cafe Parisien which is, without doubt, one of the best venues if you love the idea of a Belfast City Wedding. It’s across the road from city hall and buzzes with life from the bustle of the city. We loved all of Natalie’s details in the venue, in particular, her colourful homemade banners which perfectly complimented Cafe Parisien’s chic decor.
The rave music kicked off before the meal, so you can guess how crazy things had gotten by the time Discobeard started playing… this was our kind of party.
