This wasn’t just a wedding, it was a PARTY! I mean, we expect this when the Irish and Australians get together, but Mike and Stew took it to a whole new level.
They danced up the aisle, they danced down the aisle, they danced before the meal and they danced after it (I think Mike skipped desert for the dancefloor). They were still dancing when we said our goodbyes. About 75% of the photos we took are of people dancing. But, in spite of all this, we’re really not sure if and when their official first dance occurred.
Mike’s friends call him Panakin Skywalker, which is absolutely hilarious even if it’s not entirely fair. He just can’t help looking out for other people and thinking about the details. We get that. The only actual panic that we witnessed on the day was Stew when some curious cows headed his way during some portraits - Panakin Skywalker instinctively stepped in between Stew and the cows to let him escape.
The Wooltower in Broughshane was the perfect venue with its super cosy vibe that helped us forget the rain. This is how weddings should be; full of dancing, laughing, tears and utter joy with the people you love.
