Annnnnnnnd here we go again…

This happened a lot during the past two years. We had already photographed Jude and Niall’s legal wedding with their immediate families during the covid pandemic, so by the time they had a full wedding with all their guests, they kinda felt like old friends.

Even though this wedding was fairly big, it felt incredibly intimate. Jude’s dad is a minister - we’ve actually seen him officiate a few weddings before - so after walking her up the aisle, he then led the ceremony in the gorgeous Down Cathedral in Downpatrick.

After that, we scooted over to Finnebrogue Woods for an evening of oyster shucking, boat tripping, disco-dancing and fireworks. Maybe it was the oysters; maybe it was the booze; but like so many weddings emerging from lockdown, this felt like a release.
